Flora’s Walk is Canada’s largest Perinatal Mental Health fundraiser. Thanks to Flora’s Walk, over 100 organizations across Canada have been able to offer free and low-cost support groups and therapy to individuals and families struggling with perinatal mental health conditions. Over the past 3 years, the Barrie Flora’s Walk has raised over $50,000 for Perinatal Mental Health initiatives in our community. We are able to provide reduced-fee Therapy and Postpartum support groups at Evergreen thanks to these funds raised by Team Barrie.

Our Registered Massage Therapists offer both traditional Swedish massage and Deep Tissue massage therapy. Massage can help reduce tension and pain, increase range of motion and improve circulation.

Prenatal Massage is beneficial throughout the entire nine months of pregnancy, however, if you are having a high risk pregnancy it is best to discuss your condition with your midwife or physician before seeking treatment. Postnatal Massage is helpful in recovering from the birthing experience and easing muscle discomfort due to poor sleep, breastfeeding and consent snuggling.

A typical massage session takes at least 60 minutes but up to 90 minutes. The patient will be supported with pillows while side lying during treatment.

She has practiced in a variety of settings but always maintained a therapeutic practice that incorporated both deep tissue and relaxation techniques. She has further training in British Sports Therapy, Thai Massage, Hot Stone Therapy and Yoga Poses to treat Orthopedic Injuries and Sports. Dr. Bos graduated Chiropractic school in 2018 and started her career within a sports medicine setting. As a former Division I NCAA soccer player, she has a passion for high performance training and exercise rehab specifically in female athletes. She strives to keep patients in the sports/activities they love doing. Upon becoming a mother, she realized her passion was more than helping athletes perform their best and aid in their recovery.
