Prenatal/Postnatal Massage
Prenatal Massage is beneficial throughout the entire nine months of pregnancy, however, if you are having a high risk pregnancy it is best to discuss your condition with your midwife or physician before seeking treatment.
Postnatal Massage can be done at any point post birth, unless you want C section scar work, this would be done after 6 weeks with no healing complications. Postnatal Massage is helpful in recovering from the birthing experience and easing muscle discomfort due to poor sleep, breastfeeding and consent snuggling.
A typical massage session takes at least 60 minutes but up to 90 minutes. The patient will be supported with pillows while side lying during treatment.
